About the event

This Interactive Dialogue, offered by the U.S. Alcohol Policy Alliance, offers an opportunity for prevention, treatment, and recovery practitioners to:

  • Understand the power of raising the price as a tool for reducing alcohol related harms;
  • Discuss how your state and/or community could initiate an alcohol tax/fee campaign;
  • Understand the opportunities and challenges associated with alcohol fee campaigns; and
  • Connect to a national network of advocates interested in considering implementing a similar strategy.·
