Trainers: Michael Sparks and Dylan Ellerbee

Description: The aims of this training are to provide background information and practical training for a wide variety of public health professionals, coalitions and residents interested in serving as advocates for evidence-based alcohol policies. Central to the training are the teaching skills needed to translate research into effective alcohol policy at the local, national and international levels.  The long-term goal is to support the development of alcohol policy advocates working toward the common goal of reducing the harm caused by underage and excessive drinking.
