
Uyanga “Rose” Batzogs, MBA, PhD, is a social entrepreneur and nonprofit finance leader committed to advancing community health and well-being. She has founded organizations in Mongolia and held executive and financial leadership roles at Hawaiʻi nonprofits, including the Hawaiʻi Public Health Institute, Kōkua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, and Waimānalo Health Center.
Uyanga earned her PhD from the Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health at the University of Hawaiʻi. She currently serves as CEO of Quality Life LLC, where she provides accounting and financial consulting to nonprofit organizations and supports foreign workers in gaining professional and cultural experience in Hawaiʻi.
Growing up in Mongolia, Uyanga witnessed firsthand the impact of alcohol misuse on families and communities, particularly during the country’s transition from communism to democracy. This lived experience shapes her commitment to alcohol policy reform and prevention. She values alcohol-free social connection and enjoys bringing people together through game nights and community gatherings that foster joy, belonging, and wellness.
